1Live your life in a way that is consistent with the gospel. Your actions should match your beliefs. Be people of integrity, not hypocrisy. When unbelievers see Christ followers living in contradiction to the gospel, it turns them away from the faith.
2Serve together as a team. God has made believers one with each other. Strive to maintain unity amidst diversity. Don't allow bitterness, gossip, pride or jealousy to divide you. Keep the main goal in focus - spreading the gospel.
3Demonstrate relentless courage in the face of opposition and adversity. Don't be afraid of those who oppose the gospel. View suffering for Christ as a privilege. Take heart knowing you are not alone - others are facing similar battles. Resolve not to quit but to keep fighting the good fight of faith.
The church's mission is to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ. This requires unity, consistency between beliefs and actions, courage and determination. As we strive together despite opposition, Christ is glorified and His kingdom expands.
